Team Leader
Harlee Travers
Harlee started their journey with Murray Darling Supports as a Support Worker before stepping into a Team Leader role, where they now mentor, train, and support our incredible team. Harlee's passion is ensuring we provide high-quality, person-centered support by getting to know both participants and support workers, creating the best possible matches to meet individual needs and goals.
Harlee brings a goofy sense of humour, a personalized, active listening approach, and a dependable presence to everything she does. Harlee loves jumping in and giving things a go—whether it’s joining a participant in something they already love or trying something new together, she's always happy to see where the day takes them. From appointments to tenpin bowling, to cooking up a storm or exploring new walking tracks, she's here to support, guide, and have a laugh along the way.
Thoughts from Harlee:
"I learn so much through working alongside our support workers—supervising, discussing their views, and seeing their unique approaches. My goal is to build a passionate, hardworking team that I’m proud to guide and promote to participants. By mentoring and upskilling support workers, I ensure that participants feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely understood."
Our Support Workers
Our Support Workers are like puzzle pieces. They each have a unique shape that fits into our personal story in a way no one else can. Some pieces connect deeply, forming the foundation of who we are, while others might fit for a time and then no longer be needed. Sometimes, we don't realise a piece is missing until we find the right person to fill that space. Other times, we try to force a piece that doesn't quite fit, only to realise later that there's a better match. And just like a puzzle, when the right people are in place, everything feels more whole, complete and meaningful.
